Final weekend-range closing Oct 15 2017

Range permanently closing Oct 15!
We hope to see you this weekend!!
This is our last weekend, and our last day for training sessions will be Sunday Oct 15.
Extended hours both days.

I have been involved in Archery for more than 16 years, both as an archer and as a coach, and I have been privileged to work with so many remarkable people. My life has been enriched by all of the incredible youth and adult students, coaches and parents on this journey and I have developed so many friendships with some of the finest people I have ever met.
Over the last 5+ years I have been fortunate to bring archery programs to you as Learn Archery:Atlanta Archery Club, a dream I worked toward for many years, and, I have been graced by so much help and support from parents, students and coaches.

I am retiring from the business side of archery this month.  My husband (Coach Rip) and I will be doing some traveling over the next year and taking some time to be with family.
Coach Rip and I will also be dropping in to Kennesaw Archery Club from time to time.

How to continue with Archery Training
As we have been announcing, we have been working with
Kennesaw Archery Club (KAC) in Acworth  and Ten Ring Archery in Woodstock to offer opportunities to our students for continued archery program training. Both these programs and their Coaches are excellent- NTS trained Level 3's and 4's. . Coach Shantelle will be continuing to coach at Kennesaw Archery Club and offer private lessons.

If you have attended Saturday morning sessions at
Kennesaw Archery Club  (KAC) , you are welcome to continue attending sessions with them  . If you have not previously attend the KAC Saturday sessions, simply check their website for the process of attending as well as contacting Ten Ring Archery Club for the process of attending sessions in Woodstock.

To see original e mail announcement sent to our membership with specifics about  this closing  Click HERE.

Training:
Refine Elements : Look for Patterns

As we work on specific elements of the sequence in form, we begin to create patterns in timing, and routines. The result of the consistency (or inconsistency)  also shows up on the target face as "patterns".
Outdoors we will look at the patterns on the target faces, and indoors we will provide "quadrant training sheets"  which allow students to see very clearly the patterns of the arrows on the targets by tracking them on these sheets. This helps coaches offer guidance to help you center your arrows.
