"Mirror, Mirror".Saturday:10:30,May 9; Sunday May 10? ; Sunday is Mothers Day-Open only if enough interest.

As this Sunday is Mothers Day, we need to be sure we have enough participant interest to hold the session. We will need 10 students to commit to attend Sunday and register by 2 pm Saturday.
If you register on the doodle before 2 pm Saturday, and we do not have enough participants to hold the session, we will e-mail you that we are closing and we will also post it closed on the main page Saturday evening as well.

If you change your plans-please delete your entry, particularly if any session fills to 16. Those on the registration past 16 will be contacted if cancellations occur.
Training: "Mirror, Mirror"
This week we will work on overall form, and work in front of mirrors so the archer can
more easily see the elements we are asking them to adjust. Mirror work is critical to a training routine.

Saturday, May 9, 10:30 a.m. Open Session, all levels.

Congratulations to our new Instructors!
We held a Level 1 Certification last Sunday and now have 4 new coaches from our own group.

Any student participating in class needs minimum USA Archery “RECREATIONAL” membership ($15)

To earn rank/pins, student must hold a full "youth" or "adult" , or "family" membership, + JOAD Club membership rather than recreational
Please print a copy of your USA Archery membership card and bring it to class for our records when scoring

Join online for recreational,( or adult, youth, family full membership level  if earning rank/pins) at  https://webpoint.usarchery.org/wp/Memberships/Join.wp   choose "Learn Archery" as your club affiliation.
(Note: You can not earn rank at Recreational membership level when scoring, but can upgrade during your membership year if desired).

You will need a current  Learn Archery membership   with the USA Archery full membership to earn rank and receive pins/lanyards.

To participate , Please register on the doodle link provided above at the date/time selected for equipment and staff considerations.Please arrive  early to gear up, and sign in. This one hour class allows students to gear up & continue with training basics in safety and form .Coach supervised training includes recurve bow and all safety equipment. Continuing, ongoing instruction , accommodating various skill levels, covering: refining form, understanding equipment needs, equipment purchasing options, tournament rules, timing, string alignment, concentration, back tension.

-Class fee for open sessions as posted is $15.00, check or cash.
-Put your sight on the bow to learn where it is set based on the distance you shoot, and check the left/ right position of the aperture.
-Wear snug fitting, layered clothing,  closed toe shoes ,tie loose hair back, and remove jewelry that may interfere with string release (usually bracelets, necklaces).
